Welcome to the Showtime Circus Elite Squad - where talent meets teamwork and sparkles meet structure. By joining the Squad, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to keep everyone safe, supported, and shining their brightest.

1. Commitment & Attendance

• Elite Squad is a year-long programme running across the academic year (Sept–July).

• By accepting a place, you commit to attending all rehearsals, training sessions, and scheduled performances unless previously agreed otherwise in writing.

• This is a team commitment, not a drop-in activity - your presence matters to the group.

2. Events & Overnight Stays

• Performances may take place across the UK, and some may require overnight stays.

• You agree to your child participating in trips involving hotel accommodation where appropriate safeguarding is always in place, including:

  • Enhanced DBS-checked staff

  • Approved parent chaperones

  • Appropriate ratios of adults to children

• All travel, accommodation, and meal costs will be communicated in advance and may be chargeable (unless otherwise stated).

3. Last-Minute Opportunities

• Due to the nature of live performance, exciting opportunities may arise at short notice.

• By joining, you accept that some events may be confirmed last minute, and flexibility is required.

4. Behaviour & Conduct

• All students are expected to represent Showtime Circus with kindness, respect, and professionalism at all times.

• Poor behaviour, disrespect towards teachers, peers, or the public, or any actions that may bring STC into disrepute may result in removal from the squad.

• Children must arrive on time, ready to work hard and have fun.

5. Uniform Requirements

• Full Showtime Circus uniform must be worn at all rehearsals and performances unless advised otherwise.

• This includes appropriate footwear and tidy hair where required for safety and performance standards.

6. Parent/Guardian Behaviour Policy

• We expect parents/guardians to champion the positive culture of STC and be part of our supportive community.

• You agree:

  • To act respectfully toward staff, other families, and the STC brand.

  • Not to copy or replicate any part of our structure, ideas, or intellectual property for business or personal gain.

  • To work with us in the best interests of the children and the team as a whole.

7. Communication & Changes

• We’ll keep you informed via email, WhatsApp or your preferred method.

• Timings, dates, and venues may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances — we’ll always give you as much notice as possible.

• You agree to check communications regularly and respond promptly when needed.

8. Inclusion & Safeguarding

• Showtime Circus is a proudly inclusive space. We welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities.

• All safeguarding policies apply during rehearsals, performances, and any travel.

9. Agreement

By joining the Elite Squad, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these terms.

• You agree to uphold them throughout the academic year.

• You understand that failure to meet expectations may result in removal from the programme.
